Skype

The Skype program, similar to a simple P2P program, allows a user to have communication access between the users of its network. It is founded behind VoIP technology, and promises to be a bigger trend in the near future. But there have been a lot of people who have experienced wiretaps, eavesdroppers, and the like. Since VoIP isn't yet a secure network for communications, there's absolutely nothing the programmers of this application could do regarding security measures and privacy protection functions.

I think this isn't a safe way to protect your VoIP network, you know. I think getting a separate firewall specifically designed for VoIP networks would be the best security measure.

I think the VoIP hackers and eavesdroppers would know a way, or even a lot of ways, around the security measures of any firewall, or even the Skype application for that matter!
